In trying 123Movies2Portable for the first time today, I am having nothing but problems, not a single success.  I am trying both the version I originally installed from disk, and the upgrade version, since they both seem to be on my machine still.

Here is another failing DVD:

2. If there is an Error Message, or code what is it?   6.0.0.4 - Unknown error 1
    - The specified DVD path was invalid
3. When, in your back up process does the error occur?  at trhe very beginning
4. What format are you converting to?  ipod/itouch   (hoping to view on my ipad)
5. What is the make and model of your DVD burner?   Sony VGN-AR28GP blue ray   Mat****a BD-MLT UJ-210S
6. Which product are you using? (ex: 123MediaMax, 123CopyDVD, 123Movies2iPod)   123Movies2Portable
7. What is the Version # you are using? (Version# will be shown on the splash screen, ex: 8.0.0.0)  123CopyDVD Gold 5.0.2.9
8. What version of Windows?  Win XP Version 2002 SP 3

Disk 3 of Timtactics fails in the same way as the others.

And so disk disk 4, it fails with all three versions of Copy DVD Gold.

And every one of these plays just fine on Intervideo WindDVD for Vaio on the same computer. WinDVD Version 5.0 DXVA. So I know it is a not a problem with my hardware, and it is not a problem with the disks.

So that leaves only one conclusion.... SUNSPOTS! But it's night time.... Tides?

•Yet another disk failing, Tim Fundamentals Disk 1.... All 6 of the disks I have tried have failed in the same way with all three versions of the software. And they all work with the WinDVD software.
•Billy Madison appears like it might be working with CopyDVD, conversion details showed what looked like normal progress during a conversion... But I already watched this, it isn't something I need to backup or convert....  At least it seems like the software is installed properly.

BTW, this forum software is buggy... When I tried to make the previous post, it said I wasn't logged in, and then it allowed the post the second time after I retyped everything.
