Is it possible to use Media Max to copy a blu ray movie to the hard drive and play the movie off the hard drive? I don't see any option to copy the blu ray movie to the hard drive. Another reason to copy it to the hard drive is it's faster to make backups later on.

No, I'm sorry but we do not have that feature in Media Max.

When you select the option to burn from blu ray to a blank blu ray (either 50 gig or 25 gig) the software will rip the files into the temp folder you specify in the setup options. You can copy that anywhere you like and make a backup from it later with the burn file to blu ray option.
