The 1-99 error message is actually caused by using a incompatible DVD drive with our software. Certain DVD drives cannot buffer/read a DVD in the manner necessary for the program to process and copy the data. Many External, SATA and DVD-ram drive types seem to suffer the most from this error. We have now found a fix for this issue and will be offering a free upgrade to our 2010 release to repair the problem. The release should be available in a couple of weeks once final testing is done. I can add you the list of customers to receive the update or offer you a refund at this time if you prefer. We do hope that you found this response helpful, and we would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Please attempt the following method first. If you still have issues, please attach the log files to your reply post.

The error is caused by certain encoding on the disc, which you can bypass by using the Advanced/custom mode. You would select the ConvertDVD tab, then choose the format. After selecting the DVD, you would be prompted with the convert option(Simple, Batch, or Custom/Advanced mode) which you would choose the Custom/Advanced mode then choose the main video(which will normally be the longest in length) then choose convert.

Tried the "advanced custom mode", however when it goes to the select episodes portion of the ripping... There isn't anything to select.. I Don't understand. I was able to do this prior to the "upgrade" to the 2009 version. I originally have DVD copy Gold... no 2009 version. Then I upgraded... now not workingconfused

Thanks for listening..

Have you installed anything prior to it not working? It can be caused by a conflicting program.

No. I just went and downgraded to the 5.0.3 version and now it works fine... Don't know what makes it not read the individual files for the DVD. But as far as I can tell. Now I can rip all episodes. So I think that I will keep this version on my computer. Also I am running vista x64. Don't know if this is part of the problem or not. But like I said I can rip now.smile

We are starting to process some of the license id's for this issue. Please Pm me or Blingsupport2 with your license Id information. The fix may not work for all users and drives models at this time but it should work for most Sata drives.

As a reminder please do not feel that we have forgotten you if you do not get response right away. We will need a little time as each license id must be processed individually based on case and problem.
