Unable to BURNjumpin

I have already copied 3 DVD's successfully with Copy DVD '09 6.0.0.4.  Using Window Vista Home Premium 64 bit. Now I am receiving an error message when trying to burn the copy:  Unable to burn DVD.  Unable to access VIDEO_TS.ifo.
I have not made any changes to this computer between copies. Can someone tell me how to allow the program to access this file?  The file is actually there so what's Up??confused

I would suggest to first download the latest update for CopyDVD 09 from the link in my signature. Also, try running the program as administrator, since it may be having an issue with accessing the temp folder or the DVD drive. (right-click on the program, then click "Run as Admin")

If the problem continues, please provide the title and ISBN of the DVD.

Ok so I went and downloaded the update to 123 09.  Then i read the statement that this program will not work on 64 bit Vista?  I have burned one dvd sucessfully after updating the program but then burned on with a great picture but no sound and the next one kept recording each chapter twice.  Is this due to the 64 BIT Vista??  cry
I don't understand why it will burn some DVD's and not others?  Shall I just throw away the program??

The program will work on 64-bit systems.

There are always issues with different DVDs, as they will contain different encryptions depending on when the DVD was made and the company. If you do not have sound on the DVD, then try changing the audio track by pressing the Audio button on your DVD remote, as it is not detecting the main audio.

If you are still experiencing other problems, please provide the title and ISBN of the DVD you are having trouble with backing up, since most problems are DVD specific.

Have not had a chance to play with the DVD player yet but my DVD burner is a TSST Corp CDDVDW TS-H653N. SuperMulti DVD Burner with LightScribe Technology. I do not know where to find the ISBN number.

Hey, so sorry but i think it is the DVD player that I am playing back on. It was a commercial DVD that the kids will be watching (Wiz of OZ) and I know they will get it all goobered up as ususal. My DVD player is really old but my girlfriend was able to play it without any issues. I took it to her house and asked if she would try it out. I will invest in a new DVD player if needed. I will try a few more and verify that but it sounds like it is the players issue. Sorry to have bothered everyone but they may want to know if they use an older DVD player. I never would have thought that...
Thanks for all your help!!

We do notice this often but usually a recent player will play the copies back fine. Just be careful of Samsung, Bose and certain Blue-Ray players which will not read the disc at all or play them back scrambled.

I have followed the suggestions you provided to Maddie & I am still unable to burn the DVD--receive Burn Engine error message--unable to access VIDEO_TS.ifo. I am trying to burn a copy of the DVD Ice Age 3. Have no idea where to locate the ISBN number? Also using Window Vista Home Premium 64-bit & have successfully burned many DVD's. Please advise.

Also, is there a way to burn the copy straight from the video_Ts file I've located on my computer?

Thanks

Which version of the program are you using? Version will appear on the splash screen, when you first start the program. Ex: Version #7.0.0.0
Are you running on the administrators account?

I originally purchased 123CopyDVD08 but updated to the 09 version. I also redownloaded the update you had submitted for another person that complained they also were having the same problem--it didn't work.

I am the administrator & the sole person that uses this computer.

If possible try only the movie only portion of the DVD instead of entire disc.

Thank you! I'll sure try that as I've found I'm having the same problem with many of the movies I've been trying to make a copy of.

No, it didn't. My settings indicated they were set to C. One issue may be--whenever I open my 123Copy DVD09 it states it is not responding. I've used it like this since I upgraded to the 09 version from the original 08 version. Could that have anything to do with it? I've burned many movies under these conditions & have uninstalled & reinstalled my original copy, then upgraded.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

6.0.0.4----I have not been able to resolve any of the problems as of yet. This morning when I tried to burn a DVD, about mid-way it stopped & my computer shut down. I then received a message that the shortcut of 123DVD I had on my desktop (that I use to access it) was not working--part of it was missing! So I deleted the program, reinstalled my original version of 08' & installed the update when it popped up to 09', then installed the plug-in from booya. The first DVD I burned I could only use the "movie only" version but it did work. The second one I'm trying to burn "Flash of Genius", it seems to copy fine but the first time it started to burn it stopped about a third of the way through & I received a message of a runtime error. The second time I received the same message the moment it came to burning the DVD. I'm running Windows Vista--which I literally HATE--so not sure if that's the problem. Is this going to always be a problem--I never had these issues before on XP.

If unable to resolve, questioning if obtaining the 10' version would be better? Is there a way to download it or upgrade to it or do I need to purchase the software at a local retailer?

Thank you, just really frustrated!
